JD’s Place
JD Adler was born with a black eye and giggling in Easton, Pennsylvania. He spent two decades after high school alternating between traveling across America and attending college. He has volunteered with the Fire Department in Lake Tahoe, Mighty Writers in Philadelphia, SOS in Key West, and currently serves on the board of The Suncoast Storytellers in Tampa Bay.
JD Adler’s diverse work history includes stints as an EMT, bartender, ski lift operator, bookstore manager, line cook, freelance journalist, university consultant, and haunted pub crawl tour guide; just to name a few.
A prolific writer, he has published works of journalism, poetry, plays, screenplays, novels, and short fiction, and operates as an indie publisher, championing emerging authors’ voices.
After a lifetime of traveling, writing, and doing very job there is in one restaurant or another, JD and Lisa (the love of his life) have decided to settle down in beautiful Dunedin and put all that experience to work in a cozy cafe.
